 We're "Ramping" up to celebrate Moms!


It's been quite amazing to see how much our vendors were able to make/store/grow this winter but here's a sure sign of Spring… Wild Ramps!
Come add some of these fresh, foraged wild leeks to your plate this weekend!

 

During the Winter season (November-May) the market moves to the Antis St. lot behind Byrne Dairy & The Dalai Java and has the shortened hours of 10am-11am.
Winter market dates will be 4/23, 5/7 and 5/21

This Saturday:

  • Rise and Shine Bread will have English Muffin Bread, Asiago, Ciabatta, Rosemary Fococcia, Honey Wheat, Raisin

      

  • Nordic Farm Jams & Jellies has many jams being made per customer requests. New batch made of strawberry based Christmas Jam and peach based Christmas Jam #2, also another favorite Chocolate Raspberry Jam and also request for Orange Marmalade ! Paleo cookies and brownies, spiced nuts. Chunky applesauce as well as Bread & Butter Zukes or Cukes!
     
     

  • Clearview Farm  will offer delicate wild leeks and free recipes with the ramps at this week's market. The season is very short, so don't miss out. Kurt will also have green onions, eggs in various sizes and colors, Callan Farms dry black beans, Italy Hill popcorn, buckwheat, dried and fresh herbs (English thyme, sage, marjoram, Italian oregano, Genovese basil, lemon basil, and lemon mint), and 100% grass-fed Angus beef, ground and other cuts.
     

    Wohlschlegel's Naples Maple Farm will have

    Maple Cotton Candy quart size.
    Golden, Amber and Dark Pure Natural Maple Syrup in many sizes for Mothers Day.
    Maple cream spread, maple mustard, maple garlic rub, maple sugar candies, granulated maple sugar.

    Also our body care products:
    Maple Vanilla soap, lotion, scrub and lip balm.

 

 
  • Bedient Farms will have all your Mother’s Day grilling items from steaks to patties to chicken and pork chops!  Don’t miss our amazing special on Delmonico Steaks 2 for $22!  Hope to see you at the market!
 
  • Riedman Happy Hives will be there with a variety of 1 and 2 lb jars of local raw honey.

  • Fisher Hill Farm will have salad greens along with carrots, parsnips, potatoes, cabbage, beets, onions, kohlrabi and rutabaga.  Several varieties of local apples and Red Jacket juices along with free range eggs & FRESH whole chickens.
 
 

            

Newbury Park Pastries and Pasta Classics will miss this weekend but will be back soon!
