Consider last week a Sneak Peak, a VIP Premiere to our upcoming season because this week we are officially celebrating our SUMMER SEASON OPENING!

We are very excited to introduce some wonderful new vendors this season! They are going to be great complements to our existing lineup of old favorites!

This Saturday:                  

  • *new vendor* Stony Brook WholeHearted Foods is showcasing their Butternut Squash Seed oil, Roasted Pumpkin Seed oil, Sunflower Seed oil, Traditional Pepitas, Maple Roasted Pepitas, Butternut Squash Seed Pepitas and Sweet Chili Pepitas.

 

  • K&S Bischoping will have very tasty and crunchy apples.  Get them while we still have them! 🙂

 

  • From Wohlschlegel's Naples Maple Farm:

  • Rise and Shine Bread will have English Muffin bread, Asiago Ciabatta, Focaccia, Honey Wheat, Raisin, Beer bread and sweet breads

 

  • Riedman Happy Hives will be buzzing at the market with our spring/fall honey in 1 and 2 lb jars as well as our smaller plastic squeeze jars. Buzz on by and say Hi!

 

  • Tripleberry Farm will have lots of our pesticide-free, traditional and reduced sugar jams this week. We currently offer berry jams as well as grape and plum. We have added a few new scents of our goat milk soaps this year along with old favorites and unscented soaps as well. AND if we get some warm sunshine this week I may even have a few early strawberries.

 

  • Kitchen Blessings will have many of your favorite cookies including some gluten free varieties. There will also be fresh cinnamon rolls, scones and  4 kinds of granola including the popular "morning buzz".
Pies this week will be Rhubarb, Strawberry Rhubarb, Fruits of the Forest and Red Raspberry.
There will also be 4 kinds of jam including Cinnamon Rhubarb Jelly.
 
  • *new vendor* Shtayburne Farm will be selling Cheese Curds, Butter Garlic Cheese, Extra Sharp Cheddar, Garlic Cheddar, Smoked Cheddar, Horseradish Cheddar, Feta Goat cheese, Italian Herb Goat cheese, Rosemary Garlic goat cheese, Cinnamon cranberry goat cheese, Plain goat cheese  **Special this Saturday: Buy one block of extra sharp cheddar and one log of goat cheese for $15.  That is $1 off the normal cost of the combined cheeses. **

 

  • Seneca Vegetables will have a large variety of potted herbs along with a variety of flavored mints.
    We have petunias, many varieties of sun coleus, geraniums, New Guinea impatiens, Gerber daisies, lantana, and lavender, along with other plants.
    Hanging baskets will also be for sale.  Depending on the weather, there may be lupine bouquets.
  • Amber Reifsteck will have a few mixed flower bouquets (here come the peonies!), beeswax candles, and catnip.

 

  • *new vendor* Buzz's Garden will be offering: Lettuce mix, spicy mesclun mix, butterhead lettuce, lettuce baskets, spinach, escarole, scallions, radishes, salad turnips, fennel, kohlrabi, bok choi, microgreens, kale, swiss chard, basil, and garlic scapes.

 

  • *new vendor* This week meant to be meadows will have whole and half organic fed pasture raised chicken. Will will also be taking orders for our summer Berkshire pork packages that will be ready for pick up next week.We will be taking reservations for our fresh thanksgiving turkeys and Christmas geese.

 

We are offering a great promotion for opening day we will take $5.00 off any thanksgiving turkey or Christmas goose reservation. We know it's hard to think about this early in the summer but they will be sold out . So don't miss out on this great offer!!
  • Fisher Hill Farm will have asparagus, rhubarb, green garlic, garlic scapes, radishes, swiss chard and bok choy.  Beets, carrots, onions, and potatoes too.  FRESH whole chickens, FRESH whole duck, free-range eggs and Red Jacket juices also available.

 

  • Howell Farm will be featuring Garlic Scapes (first of the season!) Green Garlic, and Garlic.  
     
    We will also have Swiss Chard, and Beets this week.

      
     
In addition to those listed above we also welcome back F. Olivers Oil & Vinegars, Lakestone Family Farm, Howell Farms, Good Life Tea, Jane's Dog Treats, Marlee's Soaps, Stoney Acres Farm and Bedient Farms (first Saturday of each month for Bedient Farms). (Fresh Ayr Farm later in the season as well.)

Other new vendors for this season include The Dalai Java, Twisted Rail and Peacemaker Breweries and Ox Creek.

We have even more vendors than just those listed above in detail, come see what's happening! 
We're excited to celebrate our 16th season with monthly events and weekly smiles!
