The summer weather is holding on and so is the Farmers' Market!

This week brings about many changes; to the 'season', to schedules and to routines but not to the market! 

We remain under the pavilion until Halloween!

The Farmers Market is in its home under the pavilion with regular Saturday 8:30am-12:30pm hours.

Join us next Saturday, 9/12, for our Fall Festival.  We'll have music, raffle giveaways, Simply Crepes and more!  

 

This Saturday:

• Riedman Happy Hives will be buzzing with the sweet stuff  — 1 and 2lbs of raw unpasteurized honey raised on our Canandaigua Apiary.  Buzz on by and say hi!

 

• Kitchen Blessings will be there with all your favorites. Fresh cinnamon rolls, cookies, and pie. Tomorrow we will also have 6" grape pies and fresh apple crumb bars. 

 

• Italy Hill Produce will be at the market this week with certified organic heirloom tomatoes, scallions, fresh onions, fingerling potatoes, bunch carrots, garlic and cornmeal as well as a few bits and bobs. 

 

• Fran Lindgreen will be a 'guest vendor' with flaxseed filled wraps/pillows.  Stop in to talk with Fran about how to Relax with Flax!

 

• Newbury Park Pastries will be bringing chicken, shepherds, pulled pork, veggie, & panang pot pies.

 

• K&S Bischoping will have Canadian Harmony peaches, Sun Glo nectarines, Paulared, Ginger Gold, Zestar!, and William's Pride apples as well as an assortment of heirlooms (just don't know which ones yet!).

 

• Tripleberry Farm will be at the market this week with pesticide-free blackberries and raspberries.  I will also have our jams along with our goat milk soaps. 

 

• You'll find maple cream spread, maple mustard, maple garlic pepper rub, granulated maple sugar and 3 grades of maple syrup in plastic and glass from Wohlschlegel's Naples Maple Farm.

 

• Fresh Ayr Farm will be there for the last time this season with the “sweetest corn” around.  If you’re thinking of freezing some corn to enjoy this winter,  you can purchase a bag of 52 ears for $15 and save $3.00!  If you want a bag, come to the market early as we sell out before the market closes at 12:30.  Better still,  call  585-329-4575 to reserve a bag for freezing or feeding large groups!                                                                   

 

• Fisher Hill Farm has tomatoes (slicing, Roma and cherry/grape), leeks, cantaloupes, sweet corn, new potatoes, green beans, cucumbers, zucchini & summer squash, head lettuces, radishes, green garlic, garlic scapes, carrots and fresh onions.  Whole chickens are FRESH this week and both our meat chickens and laying hens for eggs are free-ranging!

 

• Clearview Farm has cantaloupe, leeks,  Beatrice and Asian Orient Charm eggplant, sweet green and poblano peppers, slicing and cherry tomatoes, young green and golden zucchini, yellow Sunburst and crookneck summer squash, Genovese and lemon basil, certified organic and organically-fed free-range eggs, gigante d'Italia flat parsley, thyme, sage, oregano, lemon mint, valerian root and black beans
