At The Market

Just 2 more weeks of “summer” market under the pavilion. And then we move to our winter home in the Antis Street parking lot for our every-other-week winter market, starting November 4th!


This Saturday:

K&S Bischoping will have quince and an assortment of apples.

Clearview Farm will be offering watermelon and other radishes; red and golden beets; dill; also Seneca Grain and Bean certified organic dry chick peas, pearled wheat, red kidney beans, small red beans, pinto and black beans;

Edler Acres will be there with lamb, eggs and gluten free cookies.

Seasons of NY will have:

Kitchen Blessings Baking will be at the market this weekend with all the tastes of Fall.
We’ll have Pumpkin Cookies, Maple Scones, Apple,  Concord Grape & Pumpkin Pies. Also, Cinnamon Rolls, and Biscotti along with all the varieties of cookies.
Many jams & jellies are available with a new batch of Quince Jelly.

The Woodland Elf is probably sold out of flowers this week, but will have photo greeting cards, beeswax candles and flowered gourds.

Schrader’s Acres: With many people stocking up with freezer beef bundles, we have limited ground beef and cuts, and we are prioritizing filling orders placed in advance. Fall is the best time for planting!
Fruit Bushes: Blueberry, black raspberry, cranberry, goji berry, raspberry, honeyberry, and strawberry plants
Fruit and Nut Seedlings: Chicago hardy fig, mulberry, and hazelnut
Native Perennials: Northern blue flag iris, shrubby cinquefoil, giant blue lobelia, scarlet bee balm, eastern red columbine

Bristol Hills Lavender will have:
This is of our last weekend to have dahlias by the stem for the season
Limited number of fresh lavender bunches
Lavender candles
Lavender neckwraps
Lavender eye pillows
Peony candles
Fall is a great time to plant peonies and we will have a variety of peony roots
 

** Thai by night will not be at the market this week, but hope to be back next week
** Ms. Linzy’s Mac-N-Cheese will be there next week!
** Mrs. Brake’s will not be at the market this week (due to a Farmington Chamber of Commerce obligation), but will return next week.
** Black Squirrel Farms will not be at the market this week and hopes to return next week. Our black walnut collection program is closing for the season on October 24th!
** Sadly – Riedman Happy Hives will not be at the market the rest of this month due to a low supply of the sweet stuff.  We hope to be at winter market 🙂 Send some love to the bees…..
